Welcome to our new Blog site. I hope this will work for everyone! I am the Canadian Federation of Mental Health Nurses BC representative. I will be managing this blog. I am interested in your ideas and thoughts pertaining to mental health nursing.
To start off this discussion , I would like feedback on the article that the CFMHN education committee wrote in the Canadian Nurse in the October 2008 issue called "Reducing the Stigma of Mental Illness".

this blog has been up and available for several weeks without a single posting. What's the deal? Are nurses not interested? Are there no issues? I'd love to hear what people have to say about this?
We are going to write up this blog in our newsletter in hopes that people will begin to share information, thoughts, experiences etc.
I like electronic communication, so thanks for this!

Sherette and I are sitting here at the Halifax Conference, maning the CFMHN booth! We're having a fantastic time and the calibre of speakers are very high. Check out the website after the conference for the PowerPoint presentations from the sessions.
We're selling the beautiful dove pins and greeting cards with pics from the quilt.
Hello all, Greetings from Nova Scotia! As Petrea said, we are sitting here at the National conference and we are having a blast! I am already excited about the next one. I can't wait to see the pics.
